Promasidor South Africa Officially Launches Amila Go!

The official launch of Amila Go! took place on Friday, 23 January 2026, in a breathtaking setting at 55 Tulbagh Events & Wedding Venue in Kempton Park. Renowned for its tranquil gardens and timeless charm, the venue provided the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable launch experience.

Amila Go! is available in a variety of refreshing flavours, including mixed berries, mango, orange, and watermelon. Enriched with vitamin C and best served chilled, the product promises a great taste that is expected to win the hearts of many consumers across South Africa.

“This is a vitamin C–enriched product that tastes amazing and appeals to a wide market,” said Tamar Mbalo, Marketing Manager at Promasidor South Africa.

The product is designed to reach communities nationwide. Each 5g sachet, priced at an affordable R2, makes up to two litres of juice, offering exceptional value for money.

Promasidor, the company behind the long-standing and successful Drink-O-Pop brand, which has been on the market for over 38 years, believes Amila Go! represents a step forward in quality and innovation.

CEO Andy Hamann attested that Amila Go! offers higher nutritional value. “This is a product that a mother would be proud to put in her child’s lunchbox, knowing she is giving them vitamins. It is suitable for all ages and can be trusted,” Hamann said.

Amila Go! is now sold by all major cash-and-carry wholesalers in the Western Cape, contributing to job creation within local communities. In Johannesburg, the product is available at wholesalers such as Sweet Harper and Boxer.

“We’re excited about our partnership with Boxer and thrilled to be featured in their pamphlet,” said Brad Liebenberg, National Sales Manager at Promasidor. “They recently ran a promotion where consumers could buy five sachets for just R10.” Hamann added that the company remains committed to food safety and consumer education. “We educate our consumers about expiry dates and food safety. We have built trust with our consumers. Amila Go is a quality product from a reputable source.

Hamann further explained that Amila Go!’s Halaal certification required rigorous audits and strict food safety compliance. “This product is for the journey of a child who wakes up early, commuting an hour or more to school, passing a spaza shop with a R2 or R5 coin. The key here is vitamin C—every child needs it,” Hamann concluded.
