In our ongoing commitment to give back to our communities, Cowbell once again proudly sponsored the 2nd Freetown Africell Marathon, promoting healthy lifestyles among the residents of Freetown.

The event, broadcasted live on AYV television and streamed on Facebook, featured three categories: half marathon, 10km, and 5km races for both men and women. Approximately three hundred runners, including members of the diplomatic corps and the Mayor of Freetown, participated in the competition.

At the conclusion of the marathon, the top three winners in each category, both male and female, were presented with approximately one hundred cartons of Cowbell, along with cash prizes from Africell, the event organizers. All participants were treated to Cowbell Chocomalt and Strawberry before and after the race.

Addressing the participants post-race, Mr. Kenneth Konuah emphasized Cowbell’s commitment to supporting the marathon for the second time, highlighting the nutritional benefits of Cowbell products for a healthy lifestyle. He encouraged everyone present to choose Cowbell for their daily beverage needs.

Africell’s management expressed deep appreciation to Cowbell for the ongoing collaboration in promoting a healthy lifestyle in Sierra Leone, along with providing product prizes for the winners.
