The usage of English in school and in the workplace in Togo is becoming more important for a predominantly French-speaking country such as Togo. Since Togo joined the Commonwealth of nations in 2022, many arrangements have been made by the Togo government and other organisations, to advocate for the use of the English Language among the citizens, especially students in tertiary institutions.

As part of our community support programme, Cowbell and Miksi supported CEPA International to Launch the “2023 English Challenge Quiz” for secondary school students in the country.

The competition, which has been in existence for the past  10 years, will have 16 schools compete in 18 weeks for the ultimate prize and the bragging rights of being the best English-speaking school.
