Promasidor Nigeria Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Francois Gillet as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective July 1, 2024. Francois succeeds Bruno Gruwez, who has decided to pursue new opportunities outside the Promasidor Group.

Francois joins Promasidor Nigeria from Danone, where he served as General Manager in Réunion. Prior to his tenure at Danone, he had a long career as a General Manager with Lactalis (a world leader in dairy) in Algeria and Brazil.

Francois is a seasoned executive with extensive international experience and a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, particularly in emerging markets. Promasidor Group Chief Executive Officer Anders Einarsson describes the new CEO, Francois, as a perfect fit for the job: ‘’His expertise spans organizational leadership, strategic analysis, business model development, and commercial management, making him ideally suited to lead Promasidor Nigeria’s next phase of growth.”

A French national, Francois holds a Master’s in Business Administration from ESCP Business School. He is married with children.
