In a beautiful blend of education and creativity, the seventh edition of the National Culinary Competition, organized through a dynamic partnership between Onga and Ghana Education Service (GES), has successfully concluded. For the past seven years, this initiative has spotlighted the exceptional culinary talents of Home Economics students across Ghana, taking their skills beyond the classroom and into the high-pressure world of competitive reality cooking.

Achimota Senior High School emerged as champions after a fierce contest that showcased the best of Ghanaian culinary artistry. They triumphed over strong contenders including St. Louis, Wesley Girls, and Notre Dame to clinch the top spot and secure bragging rights for 2025.

Proudly sponsored by Onga, Ghana’s leading seasoning brand, the competition continues to reflect the brand’s unwavering commitment to promoting authentic local cuisine and nurturing the next generation of culinary talent.

This year’s competition began with participation from over 460 senior and technical high schools across the country, eventually narrowing down through three zonal qualifiers before culminating in a thrilling grand finale.

By providing this impactful platform, Onga and GES remain dedicated to cultivating practical skills and fostering a deeper appreciation for Ghana’s rich and diverse food heritage investing in the future of Ghanaian cuisine, one talented student at a time.
