The Drink-O-Pop School of Fun brings refreshment and fun to schools in South Africa

For decades now, Drink-O-Pop powdered soft drinks and concentrates have been firm favourites with consumers across South Africa. Just one affordable sachet makes two litres of refreshing soft drink, and it’s available in a range of delicious flavours. Which is why, no matter how under-privileged the community may be, the children always have enough to afford Drink-O-Pop. In fact, many people across socio-economic groups, view Drink-O-Pop as their favourite growing up, bringing back fond memories of their childhoods.

Which is why Promasidor South Africa embarked on an ambitious new activation campaign centred around primary schools in the two biggest provinces in South African: Gauteng and Kwa-Zula/Natal. The activation, dubbed “the Drink-O-Pop School of Fun” brought a travelling roadshow to schools, where the kids played games, enjoyed Drink-O-Pop, won  prizes and got to meet our friendly DOP hippo mascot, Harry. Over the 10-week period, the Drink-O-Pop “School of Fun” plans to visit 100 schools, while interacting with around 100 000 kids.
