The Togolese Cheffe Laurence Assignon, in collaboration with ONGA, attempted to break the record for the world’s largest culinary marathon. Over the course of 13 days, from August 10th to 22nd, she cooked more than 16,000 meals with Onga Chicken, which were distributed to the public and orphanages.
During this time, thousands of consumers had the opportunity to taste Onga Chicken and Shrimp tablets, Onga powders and the new Onga tomato Mix.
This first edition in Togo saw the participation of several actors such as representatives of the government, companies, artists, comedians and influencers all came for the same objective: to support Laurence in her conquest.
After 13 days of non-stop cooking, Laurence achieved her culinary marathon with 275 hours completed, 17 000 dishes cooked with Onga Chicken, and more than 60 000 people gathered around this historic event. Wel done!
