Breast cancer remains one of the major health challenges for women worldwide, including in Burkina Faso. Every year, countless lives are affected, and behind each diagnosis lie stories of courage, fear, and hope. This disease reminds us of how essential prevention and early detection are to saving lives.
Aware of this reality, Cowbell decided to support the cause by actively participating in the Breast Cancer Screening Day organized by the Zero Female Cancer Association on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Maison d’Arrêt et de Correction de Ouagadougou (MACO). This association was created to raise awareness among women about breast and cervical cancer and to support those already affected by these diseases.
During the event, we donated Cowbell and Onga products to the detainees, along with discussion and awareness-raising. Cowbell’s mission was twofold: to provide tangible support and to emphasize the importance of early screening, while creating moments of comfort and sharing for the participants. This initiative reflects the brand’s commitment to staying close to communities and contributing to the well-being of those in need.
The activity reached nearly 75 people, including detainees and organizers. Participants warmly appreciated Cowbell’s thoughtfulness and generosity, recognizing the importance of such initiatives.
