On Saturday, March 14th, at the National Stadium, more than 10,000 people were served a plate of the traditional dish Funge (cassava flour porridge with stewed chicken). The event was held to launch ONGA SIMPLES — an exciting new product extension to be produced in Angola.

The activity coincided with a match between the top two teams in Angola’s national football league, the “Girabola,” providing the perfect stage for the activation. During half-time, the Onga Goal segment took place, and the game kicked off memorably as the mamas entered the pitch dressed in brand attire and carrying the World’s Biggest Funge flag.
