TROLLEY DASH PROMOTION – TERMS AND CONDITIONS (SOUTH AFRICA)

1. Promoter

This promotional competition is run by [Promasidor Manufacturing] (“the Promoter”), a company registered in South Africa with its principal place of business at [Unit 1 Keystone Office Park, 1 Main Road Hammersdale, KZN].

2. Promotion period

The promotion runs from [20 March 2026] to [6 May 2026], both days inclusive (“Promotion Period”). Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

3. Eligibility

3.1 The promotion is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.
3.2 Directors, members, partners, employees, agents of the Promoter, advertising agencies, participating stores, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
3.3 The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and may require proof of identity.

4. How to enter

4.1 To enter the promotion, participants must [buy any 3x 200ml Drink-O-Pop Concentrate, legibly write your names and contact at the back of your till slip and place in the competition entry box provided.] during the Promotion Period.
4.2 Incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, or duplicate entries may be disqualified.
4.3 Entry into the promotion requires purchase of goods as stated in 4.1

5. Prize

5.1 Winners will receive the opportunity to participate in a Trolley Dash at a participating store.
5.2 Winners will have [90 seconds] to collect items from designated aisles or sections using one store trolley.
5.3 The total prize value is limited to a maximum value of [R2000 only].
5.4 Excluded items include but are not limited to:

• Alcohol and tobacco products
• Pharmaceuticals or medication
• Gift cards or prepaid vouchers
• Electronics or high-value items
• Any restricted or regulated goods
• Soft drinks – Beverages across all categories

5.5 The Promoter reserves the right to determine eligible product categories.

6. Winner selection 

6.1 Winners will be selected via random draw or judged selection from all valid entries.
6.2 The draw will take place 5 – 7 working days before the trolley dash date
6.3 Winners will be contacted via [phone, SMS, email, or WhatsApp] within [4 working days] of the draw.
6.4 If a winner cannot be reached within 48 hours, an alternate winner may be selected.

7. Prizes conditions

7.1 The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
7.2 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value if necessary.
7.3 Winners may be required to sign an acknowledgement of receipt before receiving the prize.

8. Trolley dash participation rules

8.1 Participants must follow all store safety regulations and staff instructions.
8.2 Unsafe behaviour, including running in restricted areas, may result in disqualification.
8.3 Only items placed in the trolley within the allocated time will count toward the final prize.
8.4 Items that fall from the trolley before checkout may not be included in the final total.

9. Publicity

By accepting the prize, winners agree that the (“the Promoter”), [Promasidor Manufacturing]  may use their name, image, and likeness for marketing and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. Personal information

10.1 Personal information collected will be used solely for administering the promotion.
10.2 All personal information will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
10.3 Participants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting the Promoter.

11. Liability

The Promoter and participating retailers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in this promotion or acceptance of the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the **Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

12. General

12.1 This promotion is conducted in accordance with the **Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
12.2 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion if required.
12.3 The Promoter’s decision regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding.
