{"id":3209,"date":"2024-07-23T11:51:42","date_gmt":"2024-07-23T11:51:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/promasidor.com\/?p=2910"},"modified":"2024-10-21T12:12:51","modified_gmt":"2024-10-21T12:12:51","slug":"promasidor-ghana-supports-national-cardiothoracic-centre-kaneshie-polyclinic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/promasidor.com\/en\/blog\/promasidor-ghana-supports-national-cardiothoracic-centre-kaneshie-polyclinic\/","title":{"rendered":"Promasidor Ghana Supports National Cardiothoracic Centre &amp; Kaneshie Polyclinic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of its 25th anniversary commitment to assist the good people of Ghana, Promasidor Ghana (PGH) supported the National Cardiothoracic Centre (NCTC) with GHS 489,900 to fund 10 patients needing life-saving surgery and donated essential medical equipment to the Kaneshie Polyclinic in Accra.<\/p>\n<p>The medical equipment donated to Kaneshie Polyclinic, including 50 oxygen masks, patient trolleys, myomectomy instruments, caesarean section instruments, a patient monitor, suction machine and tube, bulb syringe and diathermy pencils, is in line with Sustainable Development Goal 3, which aspires for Good Health and Well Being.<\/p>\n<p>The equipment donation and support to National Cardiothoracic Centre is a community support initiative under the Promasidor Community Impact Drive (PCID) to support sustainable projects that drive social change, improve the quality of lives and address pressing societal needs of vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the gesture, the Managing Director (MD) of PGH, Festus Tettey, said \u201cPromasidor has always been intentional about supporting the community where it is situated and bringing relief to people in dire need of surgeries but don\u2019t have the funds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The PGH MD added that \u201cLast year, we donated GHS 335,700 for patients who needed life-saving heart surgery and this year we are here to offer financial support to 10 patients in line with our community support drive.
