A resounding success for Onga Cooking Competition in Guédiawaye, Senegal

On October 11, 2025, the city of Guédiawaye came alive with warmth and gastronomy during our grand culinary competition organized by Onga. More than 400 participants attended this exceptional event, which brought together six women’s groups competing for prestigious prizes, including mini fridges, freezers, stoves, and various kitchen utensils.

Evaluation criteria such as punctuality, hygiene, dish presentation, and performance helped highlight the participants’ expertise and creativity. The warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the day, strengthened bonds between participants and the audience.

The tasting moments were especially appreciated, with particular attention paid to the quality and hygiene of the dishes presented. The success of this event significantly boosted our brand’s visibility and reputation, while also encouraging other women’s groups in attendance to join our program, convinced of its benefits.
