Street Child of Sierra Leone, a national non-governmental organisation dedicated to providing education, child protection and livelihood support to children in vulnerable communities across all districts of Sierra Leone, successfully organised the second edition of the Street Child Marathon 2025, held in Bo City on Saturday, 25th October 2025, following the success of last year’s first edition held in Makeni.

As part of efforts to build and position our flagship brand as socially responsible and community-driven, Cowbell sponsored the Street Child Marathon with support from Twisco chocolate drink.

The marathon brought together hundreds of runners and spectators in support of a noble cause, empowering vulnerable children through sports. The races were divided into three categories: 5 km, 21 km and 42 km, for both male and female athletes.

Cowbell awarded the winners from each race, both male and female, with assorted products. While receiving the prices and donations for selected vulnerable children, Mr. Bobson Sesay, Event Coordinator of Street Child Sierra Leone, expressed his appreciation for Cowbell’s continued partnership and generosity. He stated, “Cowbell has always been supportive throughout the years and if not for Cowbell support most of the children under my care may never get the opportunity to drink milk. Cowbell is a nutritious brand, and I am impressed with how it continually steps in to support community-driven initiatives. I encourage other companies to emulate Cowbell’s example.”
