On 17 December, homecoming citizens to familiarized and celebrated the rich cultural heritage of their motherland, Liberia with live band music, cultural dance troops, a talent show by the youth, and the display and sale of various products and cultural artifacts.

This year’s LIBFEST event was at its peak again, as many tourists and countrymen who reside outside the country spent the day celebrating and exhibiting their rich culture. Around 650 people attended the event of which 200 were children.

The Liberian Chef’s association, which has been a key partner in our Onga brand development, gave us the opportunity to be part of this year’s event.

Participants were served with both local and foreign dishes prepared using our seasonings: Onga Shrimp, Onga Beef, Onga Chicken, Onga Classic, Onga 3 mix and Ong Stew.

Our seasoning brand received excellent feedback, with most participants from the diaspora snapping up Onga for their cooking back home.
