As part of activities to end the 2022 Girls Festival Summit, Girls Advocacy Development Network, Sierra Leone(GADNET) organised an Inter-Area Games Competition at the Sierra Leone Football Association football field at Kingtom on Friday 16 December in partnership with Cowbell.

The program was aimed at encouraging young ladies to realise their potential in any endeavour possible, especially through sporting disciplines, and also to provide them entertainment during the Christmas period.

The program started with much excitement during the football match between Western rural ladies and Eastern urban ladies, which ended in a nil-nil draw. Activities for the day started with a football match and continued with a dancing competition, musical chairs and finally ended with the determination of the ‘fastest eater”. Five participants had five minutes to consume as much soaked gari, sugar, Cowbell milk, groundnuts, bread with eggs as they could.

The CEO of GADNET, Hannah Kargbo thanked the management and staff of Premium Divine for their support and also members of GADNET for their participation in making the program a huge success. She expressed the desire for joint partnerships going forward.
