The Ongalicious Inter-Area Cooking Competition organised by Reclaud Investmet in collaboration with Salone’s Favourite seasoning Onga, was successfully executed at the Godriech community. It served as a platform to educate traders, market women, residents and families, about the Onga brand among the various communities that participated.

The competition was held between four teams representing four different communities (Gbendembu, Oba Funkai, Brookfields and Lumley) and each containing five participants, all of whom stood a chance to win attractive prizes from Onga.

The contestants’ task was to prepare a delicious meal in one hour and thirty minutes. The contestants were judged on their neatness, cooking skills, speed, teamwork, hygiene and taste. 450 people attended and it was a great opportunity to educate on the benefits of our Ongalicious brand ONGA.

All competing teams from the four participating communities were awarded cartons of Onga chicken, Cowbell and attractive cash prizes by the Onga Brand.
