The Adabraka Market has emerged winners of the 2022 edition of the Onga Kpatashie Cook-Off. The annual competition, which is aimed at promoting and preserving Ghanaian traditional cuisine, had nine market women associations and three senior high schools from the Greater Accra region battle it out for culinary supremacy. The 2022 Onga Kpatashie marks 10 years since the commencement of the event. 

 After 2 hours of intense cooking, contestants showcased traditional Ghanaian meals, representing different regions in the country. At the end of the competition, representatives from the Adabraka Market walked away with bragging rights as the winner of this year’s competition. They were presented with two freezers and product packages for each contestant. Chantan market and Osu Presec chalked up the 2^nd and 3^rd positions respectively and they were both presented with product packages, kitchen appliances and electrical appliances.
