Following some news reports circulating about Cowbell milk, Promasidor Angola, Lda hereby clarifies that the boxes of Cowbell milk seized by the National Economic Inspection Authority (ANIESA) are not related to Cowbell-Our Milk produced by Promasidor Angola, lda but to Cowbell milk that comes from the Congos (Democratic Republic of Congo and Republic of Congo). 

Since the beginning of the year, Cowbell milk, which originates in the Congos (Democratic Republic of Congo and Republic of Congo) and whose packaging does not comply with Angolan labelling law, has been crossing the border illegally and reaching our market. It should be emphasised that ANIESA's intervention is aimed at enforcing the law and putting an end to illicit trade. This illicit trade harms Angola because it doesn't pay taxes, penalises national companies for unfair competition and doesn't comply with Angolan labelling laws, which are in a foreign language (French "Cowbell Notre Lait"). 

It should also be clarified that the seizure of products by ANIESA has to do with illicit trade and labelling in a foreign language - and has nothing to do with quality. 

Promasidor Angola, Lda is taking this opportunity to reinforce to its loyal consumers that Cowbell milk meets the highest international quality standards and is perfectly fit for human consumption.
