Living in a healthy environment is necessary to maintain good health. Every 7^th April, World Health Day, sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO) is celebrated in Burkina Faso.

Management of TOECE Market and Onga decided to mark World Health Day with a Clean Up Exercise with the theme, “clean markets promote good health for consumers”.

The state of the market environment was quite inhospitable due to piles of garbage and rotten vegetables. Many volunteers were mobilized to help the Onga team clean-up the market.

Onga, one of the most respected brands in Burkina Faso, also supported the event with cleaning materials, T-shirts and aprons to volunteers who are mainly retailers and porters in the market. The management of the market were appreciative of the support and collaboration.
