Onga’s Spice Carnival takes the Ghanaian market by storm

by | Apr 30, 2024 | ALL NEWS, CORPORATE NEWS

The Onga Spice Carnival, a Samba-styled procession of choreographers and dance groups vibrantly dressed in costumes representing Onga Seasoning variants  has brought Onga  to the doorsteps of Ghanaian markets including Kasoa New Market, Okaishie, Kejetia, Techiman and Sunyani.

Being a Ghana-first initiative, the Onga Spice Carnival brought to life the Onga Tablets (Shrimp, Stew, Chicken and Beef), Onga Powders (Classic, 3-Mix, Stew & Chicken), as well as the latest addition to the range, the Onga Soya Chunks. The train made it possible for spice lovers, foodies and anyone looking to spice their culinary adventures to sample and explore the products.

Ghana’s first spice carnival had an Onga Genie leading the dancers, the brass band, and performers across the street to engage the people in the various markets, giving attendees the opportunity to sample deep-fried yam with Onga Soya Beef Chunks while sales were ongoing. Marketing Premiums were given as giveaways to attendees who engaged with the crew by answering questions on the Onga products, and those who bought products instantly.

Overall, the Onga Spice Carnival was a feast for the senses, celebrating the rich diversity of culinary tradition that Onga seasoning brings to our lives with Mama’s Helping Hand.
