Joy and excitement at Cowbell Family Funday in Freetown

The second edition of the Cowbell Family Funday brought together over 2,103 attendees, including school-going pupils, teachers, and parents. The event took place on 24th December 2025 at Bengod Kids’ Park in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

It began with school visits to engage pupils, during which 17 primary schools were visited. Each school sent representatives to participate in the Funday. The Cowbell Family Funday aims to bring families, pupils, and teachers together to have fun, spend quality time with one another, and reconnect with family members and friends.

This year’s event was filled with fun and entertainment, featuring a wide range of games for pupils, teachers, and parents. Pupils enjoyed activities such as a dancing competition, “Find Your Shoe”, musical chairs, and “Burst Your Balloon”, while parents and teachers competed in musical chairs. All participants were awarded prizes by Cowbell.

Pupils also had the opportunity to meet and interact with Santa Claus and enjoy all the park’s facilities, including bouncing castles, swings, a pyramid, a swimming pool, and more.

The main objective of the Cowbell Family Funday is to create fun and strengthen family bonds. This year’s edition catered not only to the children but also to the parents, with organized games and access to medical check-ups for the parents.

Mrs Patricia Bull, a teacher and parent, praised Cowbell for organizing such an entertaining event. She noted that pupils had a lot of fun, spent quality time with family members, enjoyed the wet sampling of Cowbell and Twisco, along with their food.
